CelebrityAccess and ArtistForce.com announce TourIntel.com – Revolutionary business intelligence service for live entertainment box office reports
Boulder, CO and Beverly Hills, CA – July 27, 2010 – CelebrityAccess, the leading provider of news and information to the performance industry and ArtistForce.com, the leading business technology company for performing arts, proudly announce a new live entertainment information service – TourIntel.com.
TourIntel.com is a web-based business intelligence service which provides in-depth analysis on over a decade of box office reports. Information is broken down, analyzed, and rebuilt to provide insight into attendance, gross, ticket price, location, genre, and more. Reports are presented in stunning graphics using interactive charts and graphs to easily visualize and understand individual artists or venues and to make up to four direct comparisons of each.
A rapidly growing database of over 15,000 artists, theatrical productions and live entertainment events as well as over 7,500 venues contribute to the hundreds of thousands of box office reports included in this revolutionary new platform for live entertainment event data. Thousands of reports, artists and venues are being reported to TourIntel.com weekly, quickly adding to the historical data extending back to 1998.
“TourIntel.com will finally enable agents and talent buyers to understand the relevant details behind live box office scores” said CelebrityAccess CEO Peter Denholtz. “The Industry will now be able to make comparisons and understand the trends associated with various artists and venues. This long overdue upgrade to the traditional method of providing box office information will quickly become an essential tool to the talent buying process and to understanding the success of live events.”
TourIntel.com is a joint venture between CelebrityAccess and ArtistForce.com, with each company providing complementary industry tools to power the service; CelebrityAccess’ data and ArtistForce.com’s live entertainment business technology. The result is the first of a number of new products and services designed specifically for the live entertainment industry.
“We are energized about the opportunity that TourIntel.com provides for The Industry to bring deep, visual insight in to their business relationships, analyze critical information and make better-informed decisions.” said Jonathan Romley, Founder and CEO of ArtistForce.com.

Florida Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame, Inc. Formed
Clearwater, FL – January 25, 2010 - Charlie Souza and Dorothy Famiano today announced that The Florida Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame, Inc. (FMEHF) has filed for organizational status as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation.
Established to ensure that Florida’s rich and diverse music heritage is honored through preservation, celebration and education, the FMHF will recognize and honor performers and others who have made significant contributions to the musical history of the state of Florida. Planned activities will strive to promote public interest in the musicians of the past and encourage those of the present and future.
Founding Board members Souza and Famiano are currently leading a series of focus group meetings involving music and entertainment professionals, music historians, researchers, educators and business leaders as well as politicians to determine what the State of Florida would like to see. Additionally, a formal nomination and selection process to identify those individuals groups organizations who are worthy of inclusion into the Florida Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame has been initiated.
“I have had the good fortune to have a music career has spanned almost forty years. While playing with The Tropics, Bacchus, Cactus, White Witch, Tom Petty, and Greg Allman, we have had tens of thousands of fans at a time in the audience. I still tour with two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees in The New Rascals and my band, The New Tropics. To this day, the one thing that has never changed is the hope I see in the eyes of those in the audience. I love giving that feeling back to people. Now I sit with my grandson, Kyle, teaching him how to play guitar, and I see the same look! It inspires me to lead the charge for The Florida Music Hall of Fame to honor our states rich music heritage,” commented Mr. Souza.
“For as long as I can remember, music has inspired everything that I do. I believe everyone listens to music but most people do not appreciate just how much a part of our lives it really is,” commented Mrs. Famiano.
“We are excited about our new organization and are looking forward to a very busy 2010 building a strong foundation for growth,” continued Famiano.
Support for the FMHF will be obtained through donations, grants and membership of business and industry as well as musicians and music lovers.
